After the beaver was captured, a piece of plastic was snipped from her waist. It was apparently a packaging strap like those used to bundle newspapers, wildlife experts said. That's one kinky beaver.

I met the guy from this Booze Store several years ago at a party in Vail, at a friends home. He invited me to visit his store the next and presented me with a shirt and a hat.
He suggested I visit a friend of his at Beaver Diver:
I was told about another fellow who owned Beaver Hunter and yet another Beaver Pelts but, never got around to visiting them. All these places are down the street from each other in and around Vail, Avon and Beaver Creek.

I attended a small college in northern Minnesota (You know, the home of the Golden Gophers). Only, our sports teams were named the Beavers! One year the football team played the mostly male college, Michigan Tech, for their homecoming. The homecoming theme, plastered all over campus: “Lick the Beavers”.

I hate it when your beaver gets “packing material” caught around it...

It was apparently a packaging strap like those used to bundle newspapers, wildlife experts said.
I used to live in an apartment and one night I had to go out to my car for something. On the front porch, there was a cat obviously looking for food so I went upstairs and filled a bowl full of catfood that I had left over from my own previous cat.
When I brought it back down I then noticed that the cat had a zip-tie around its neck that obviously had been placed when it was a young cat because it had grown into the tie so much that not only was it choking it to death but its eyes were bulging.
When I saw that, I ran upstairs to get a pair of snips to cut it off its neck but by the time I got back to the porch, the cat was gone. I'll never forget the sight of that poor cat.........

I'm not going to lie, I checked this thread solely for the comments.
However, I was surprised to see a beaver caught in a net.....all this time I've been using dinner and a movie.
