Bad News For Everyone In The USA, And A Terrible Example For The World
US law enforcement and the jurisprudential process are being savaged by zealots, racists and ideologues. Specifically:
the president of the United States a onetime law lecturer, of all things disgraced himself and his office, made a mockery of our legal system and exacerbated racial tensions in our country, making them worse than they have been in years. This is the work of a reactionary, someone who consciously/unconsciously wants to push our nation back to the 1950s. Theres more, if you are up to it.

How long before the names of the jurors are mysteriously leaked?
My friends here in Oz think he’s a total jerk.
Could you post the article so I can ping it. A lot of people on my lists will not go to blogs.
You could ping it anyway with "Even though it's a blog it's well worth the read." (Though I haven't read it yet, so I can't say if it is or isn't.)
With all the legal segregation the fifties were the best decade for blacks in the history of the USA. They were flooding into the industrial cities of the North and becoming the new wave of Immigrants. Had they been left alone by the Left and the government they would probably now be socially indistinguishable from the Immigrants of the early 1900s as they were in the fifties and sixties i.e. solidly on the road to mainstream in American society. The Democrats and the Great Society short circuited that process and pretty much chained the would be new immigrant wave to the Democrat and Government Plantation as vote slaves.
I was wondering today how I would explain the Zimmerman tragedy/farce to a visitor from Europe, say a middle-aged German man. I realized that I would probably be unable to formulate an explanation that would prevent him from responding, "You Americans are a very stupid people."
Sadly, it's almost-third-world behavior.
There were those of us who thought that most Americans had pretty much left race behind.
Apparently not.
