Perfect picture for American Party to be.

Just saw this picture on Drudge, and looked-up a better resolution. Sometimes we forget what our national symbol is. Not a donkey nor an elephant. If we ever get to establish new political party representing our values, it's symbol should be this:

Beautiful story, and the spirit is right.

I think you have it right, war paint. Can’t tattoo feathers but you can apply warpaint.

Always kind of liked the Minute Man image and it is what we need - a Call To Arms.

The essence of idolatry is that you get so wrapped up in the symbols you neglect the reality the symbol stands for.

Do you have a face tattoo?

The way you took offense at my remarks leads me to believe you do.

But I could be wrong.

I do feel that the gun in the hands of a proud, free man does remind one of the underlying meaning of the image in this particular case.

One may use imagery without devolving to idolatry.

I think the "wild turkey"

You mean that dumb bird that hangs around in flocks that don't know enough not to get out of the road?

Maybe the Republicans should use that symbol.

I don’t care what the symbol is as long as they:

1]advocate ending world role providing blood and treasure for executive war whims and get a formal congressional declaration of war.

2] End job exporting unbalanced trade ‘free trade’ deals. Require trade to be balanced goods for goods.

3] All able bodied on doles should be required to show up every day for training.

I've had it with political parties in the traditional sense. Like I told some solicitor who called me awhile back about donating to the Republican Party, "I'm a Tea Party advocate, and I wouldn't give a cent to the GOP."

Failing Eh? I think maybe America is failing the ideal of the Eagle and that’s the problem, not the Eagle!

This image has been around for some years now and I never thought of it as a tattoo. Agree looks like a collage to me. And I like it.

It’s not a tattoo, you can’t tattoo feathers. I’ve seen similar themed facepaint used to express patriotic passions; nothing wrong with it.

You know what? If I’m in a fight, for my life, the Constitution, my country, I would rather have a patriotic and committed person with a full face tattoo next to me in the trenches whom I feel I can rely on rather than someone who might have second thoughts about having my back because I have a tattoo, or maybe red hair or a different religious belief. This is a war kid, whether you believe it or not and it may get ugly before it gets better. Best to welcome all true supporters and patriots to the fight than to be exclusive because of physical traits.

Not that it’s your business or anyone else’s but NO, I do not have a face tattoo or neck art. I have a single Marine Corps emblem on my arm with my wife’s name on one side, mine on the other side and the year 1972 below the emblem; the year both of us who were Marines at the time were married.

I don’t think I’d want someone with your narrow-minded attitude next to me in any foxhole or any fight.

The Symbol should be inspiring, I think the right symbol is a big deal. Can you feel inspired just looking at a maggot? Although apparently a lot of imbeciles are inspired by the looks of a donkey :)
