Well we know she had money for the fare Perhaps seeing how inconvenient Muni is, a local woman opted to take a cab to holdup a San Francisco 7-Eleven in Visitacion Valley last week.

The Examiner regales us this morning with the news of 25-year-old Ariana Bolmer who pleaded not guilty in court yesterday to charges of robbery, second-degree burglary and receiving stolen property.

According to prosecutors,at about noon on Friday, Bolmer allegedly got a Yellow Cab near her home on Harrison Street and asked the driver to transport her to the 7-Eleven on the 2200 block of Bayshore Boulevard. When they arrived, she told him to park around the corner and wait. She was going to "shop" at her convenience.

As she walked into the convenience store, Bolmer allegedly pulled a red bandana over her face. She then allegedly ordered the cashier to "open the register or I'll shoot" while presenting a "bulge" in the pocket of her black jacket, according to prosecutors.

The clerk emptied both registers, and Bolmer hopped back into the cab with $180 in cash. A witness said they saw Bolmer get into the back of the cab. The witness scribbled down the cab's number and called the cops. Police later pulled over the taxi along Mission Street near Virginia Avenue in Bernal Heights.

The cops found the suspect as well as her red bandanna and the stolen cash; the cabbie apparently had no idea his fare had just robbed the store. He told police he was on his way to her next destination: a smoke shop near Mission and 30th streets.

Bolmer was transported from the cab to the police car where she got a free ride to County Jail.

Stupid lady. She’d have to rob a much bigger store than 7-11 to be able to afford a cab ride in San Fransicko.

Can you deduct the cab fair on your taxes, since it’s a business expense?

Strange that I lived around the Bay Area for years and never heard of Visitacion Valley.
