Insurance in TX: You're not going to force Mexican Hispanics to get insurance without consequences
Personal observation, Contacts in Hispanic community | 5 August 2013 | Mene

An interesting side note. An employer friend of mine offered healthcare to his employees, all but one of whom are Mexican Hispanics, and they all refused. The employer was going to pay 80% of the healthcare and had to have 80% participation to be able to effect it, but the employees all turned it down. The reason?

They have access to CHIP in Texas for their children for free and will not have any money coming out of their paychecks for adult healthcare. Services are available for an inexpensive amount or free through other sources. Additionally, other sources tell me they're hearing the same thing -- NO to having to pay healthcare premiums through other employers for Mexican Hispanics.

So, what happens when the government steps in and FORCES everyone to buy healthcare? What kind of political consequences are we going to face? Are the Democrats going to let the Republicans win key elections right when the healthcare laws kick in and then use the Federal agencies to create massive political turmoil and blame the whole mess on Republicans? What about amnesty? When you legalize another 30 million people who think like those mentioned above, how are you going to FORCE them to pay for healthcare out of their already meager paychecks? What about the law-abiding citizens who turn and see that a huge segment of society refuses to comply with the law? We are headed for unprecedented problems over all of this that we've never seen before.

Some employers are now forcing their employees to get healthcare ahead of this Healthcare Act implementation. I know of one who has. You either buy it, or show you have insurance elsewhere. Some have the backbone to force the people to comply, others don't. We are definitely going to see societal turmoil over this as well as economic impact as disposable income is going to drop across the board from funds sucked up by healthcare. What a mess.

So, the replacement population isn’t as compliant as the old population? They only want to take and could care less about giving their “fair share”?

They also have powerful constituency organizations and no love or guilt for the old client groups? They are very likely to just suck the society dry without contributing a thing? They revere their own above all else? They don’t have a cultural history that respects law and order? They do understand the mechanisms of power and are now experienced in its use?

The government, academia and the media enabled this, so they can figure out how to divide their beloved people in the shadows. If they don’t, the present power structure is going to change way beyond anything they imagined and none of their Cloward/Piven/Alinsky tactics are going to be relevant.

All I know is next tax season is going to be interesting. I’m supposed to buy this coverage too (in NJ here), but if I can’t afford it, of course I’m not going to buy it. And neither is anyone else, black, white, white-hispanic, or of undetermined ethnic origin.

And getting rid of the employer mandate will do nothing to help this along politically. Wait until all those VOTERS who have to pay a TAX PENALTY in APRIL because they decided they couldn’t afford the coverage go to the POLLS next NOVEMBER.

I could be wrong, it’s certainly happened many many times. But I’m expecting a debacle of unprecedented proportion.

The American people are so uninformed that they will back Obama programs no matter what it costs them. They still think “Obamacare” means free health care for “the poor”. That’s all they know and all they need to know in their own minds.

Read history of late Roman Empire. Goth barbarians were allowed into empire because they were needed to populate frontier against other barbarian threats. Goths became the balance of political power in Roman political conflicts. A Roman minority faction wants power, they need Goth support to overwhelm the majority Roman faction to take power as emperor. When the Goths realize their role they used it against one Roman faction after another to Rome’s detriment. Mexican Hispanics will figure this out just like the Goths and milk the US political parties and taxpayers for everything as a condition for their support of one candidate or another. The first group to feel the change will be American blacks.

I have talked to employers who have tried to “legalize” their Mexican help and have met with resignations of howls do complaint. These illegals LIKE not paying taxes, and want the continued off-the-books cash paycheck.. The employers are looking at jail time. LOL. It’s a felony to not pay things like unemployment taxes, Medicaid and Medicare taxes...I’ve seen some people -employers—go to jail for this. —you know, if we actually had congressmen to help represent conservatives, we could actually GET the Hispanic vote!

You put it so much more eloquently.

Yes, any bonuses the one employer gives them, they want in a separate check to try and hide from their total income so as to not jeopardize the game they're playing to get CHIP and other benefits. This fraud is HUGE, by the way and nothing is being done about it.

Heh. That makes the employer the fall guy, you know. All that wonderful cheap labor, like doing business with the mafia. I know of one employer who dud time for not paying Medicaid and Medicare taxes for hill illegals.

While I have no use for Criminal Trespassers I also have no use for a US company which employs a single one of them.

Either we are a nation of Constitutional Law or we are just some way station where Criminal vermin can walk into our country and not get shot (which they should), but be given benefits paid for my money stolen by force of government from productive REAL CITIZENS!

We had a working immigration policy when Ellis Island type regulations were in play. Now thanks the that vile POS Ted Kennedy, and other traitors in Washington, criminal trespassers are more important than real citizens as the progressive/communist/democrat party can count on their votes.

I detest criminals getting my money all while they continue to show their utter contempt for their host country. Washington, your day is coming.
