I was going to go over to the owner of the dog today but was advised by many not to do that.

My neighbors said, "we have to live here...and so do you. Please don't create problems."

Just to clarify, I don't have a problem confronting people...in fact, my confronting folks aggressively might be a problem (perhaps a little pit bull-like myself).

Is that exact enough for you? Or do you want more clarification?
