Too bad that their wings suck, and they are expensive.

Also, since a lot of the heat in the recipe cooks off, I like to add a few drops of Dave’s Insanity sauce at the end. Tough stuff.

Dave's..? NOW we're talking!

Just noticed, and love the siameserescue.org tagline. This is what they entrusted me with, and I thank them every single day:

Beautiful! SR placed two under our roof, and sent notice of two others that we saved from the ‘Green Mile’...

She’s a mutt - her brother wasn’t even a siamese. They classified her as Lilac though. Thus her name - Lilly. I think that was taken the first week I had her. Who puts her in a shelter??

Ate there once. I ordered the Atomic Wings. I almost died. I turned bright red, was close to hallucinating and couldn’t tell what anything else tasted like for several hours. The tea was wet. That’s all that mattered.

My husband still likes to joke about taking me there if I’ll order the same wings. Evidently, I was quite amusing.

My homemade wings are made with butter and Franks and a dash of Cholula Chipolte. Hot enough for me and they aren’t lethal.

Thanks for sharing the sauce recipe.

A great post for a Sunday afternoon.

Just use the food processor and make sure all the veggies are minced. Add the powders to the Franks/butter first. Wait awhile, then add the veggies.

It’s best to then put it in the fridge for a couple of hours and pull it out to scrape the butterfat off the top (but who can wait?).

Then reheat and add the rest.

(but who can wait?).

Hence my penchant for a fast fix. The conversation usually starts: I'm craving some hot wings. Guess I'll get extra the next time so I can have now and later.
