After yesterday's server constipation, we now see THIS:
Server error
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/post_article?forum=chat. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly.

I get white-screened as well as the HTTP 500 error.I've been getting the same since Friday or so. Extremely annoying... I'm spending far less time on FR because of this problem.
Can anyone tell us if this is being fixed / worked on?

I dont think they know whats goin on.
the fact that one can normally get to a given page thats been preemtped by the http 500 error warning.....by clicking the >>>access later....text<<<<.."link" in same.. leads me to believe its "outside" interference
