Many Americans, even those who didn't support Sen. Barack Obama's policies, welcomed the sight of a black president in 2008 as a sign of racial progress.
The director of Lee Daniels' The Butler insists that election showed the country's "true colors"--we're still a racist nation. And it's gotten worse since Obama first took office.
Daniels, speaking with the low-rated Piers Morgan on CNN Monday night, gave this answer when asked if the country had become more or less racist since Obama's 2008 election victory.
"I think that people are angry that he's president, and I think that they're showing their true colors. And I think that – I think that, you know, when Danny Strong wrote those words, "Any black man can be killed by any white man and get away with it," Trayvon Martin had not happened. I end the movie with hope, you know. He's walking down and Obama's giving that famous speech, you know? And then I come out of my edit room and Trayvon Martin has happened. So yeah, I think so – sadly I think so."

Something occurred to me today. I have no doubt that this thought will be considered racist by a lot of people but here it goes: Race relations will never improve in this country as long as black American children continue to be raised by black American adults. How can that be changed? No idea. That's why I see no end to black racism.
I agree.
But not for the same reason he does.
I wonder what the liberals said was the reason for opposing Carter, who was the same Obama, except Carter actually worked a couple times in his life.

That is true, but the racism is on the part of Eric Holder’s people, so racism has been redefined. Racism now occurs only when a non-black notices how racist blacks are.
Not a sign of racial progress, but rather the decline of a nation. Name one country in the world, led by a Black, which is not an economic basket case. Obama turned a recession into an economic implosion. The US is screwed, thanks to Obama.

I agree that America has become a more racist country since 0bama became president. 0bama has caused it by stirring up the racism of black people against white people. 0bama’s remarks about Trayon Martin (Barrack 0bama Jr.) are a prime example. Look at all the racist hatred coming from people like Al Sharpton and the black racist pig congresswoman in the pink cowboy hat. 0bama apparently loves that crap and does all he can to promote it.
There are those of color who would have made GREAT presidents....It’s not Obama’s pigment that makes him a disaster; it’s his Commie upbringing.

Seeing the phrase “the low-rated Piers Morgan on CNN” is pretty darn funny!
That is one movie I hope is a disaster at he box office.Hopefully they choke on it.
Between this jackass and Oprah I made up my mind never to watch this film.
I’ve heard great reviews, though a good bit over embellished and contrived.
But, with the phoney charges of racism from Oprah and the outlandish claims by this moron, all in the attempt to boost interest in what probably would have been a heartwarming movie, I’m jaded.
No Effing way a clerk didn’t want to show Oprah some object because she thought she couldn’t afford it.
I’ve had clerks steer me toward more cost reasonable purchases before and sometimes I’ve told them I don’t care and I take the more expensive item out of sheer pride.
Hence, I own a couple of things that otherwise could have been had for less and good number of things because the clerk pointed me toward a more reasonable product.
The guy I buy my shoes from is a good example. One manufacturer apparantely has two prices for their products.
There is the price once it sits on a shelf and I guess there is a catalog price, to which I have no access. It still gets rung up through the register and the receipt recorded from that store so it’s an up and up deal but, if this guy hadn’t told me that, I’d be spending nearly $80 bucks more each time I buy shoes from that manufacturer.
Clerks will sell you whatever the hell you want. They want to make the commissions and further, they want to keep their jobs.
Oprah’s claims are Boo Chit but, she can’t back out of it now, can she?
When the race card is no longer a political winner for them. The race pimps, white and black, gain tremendous wealth and power using race as a battering ram in public discourse. Average blacks have been carefully manipulated by their new Democrat Plantation Masters into a force designed to divide American culture and politics.
Since he out and out lied about the white Presidents(Republican racist, Democrat non-racist) in his movie we know from which direction the racism is coming.
It is NOT racist to be wary of any group which has their Bell Curve on just about every topic so far to the negative.
IE: Obama is too dumb or dishonest (both) to realize the people he claimed would lock their car doors when he walked down the street (does anyone over the age of 2 believe this?) would have been simply reacting to the REALITIES of life due, almost exclusively, to the bad behavior by his half race.
People of different cultures, different languages, even different alphabets, have somehow managed to find the ladder to opportunity but his half race seems all too happy to stay on the plantation and be among the parasites of society.
The problem is now the parasites are sucking more blood than the producers can produce.
I thought for certain his election would have improved things and just maybe more would see that goals CAN be achieved in this country but I was wrong and bHo simply poured napalm on the embers of racism.
What had been simply an observation of less than stellar performance in his half race, is now full blown hatred for the 93+% of those who voted to remain parasites.
Those who left the plantation are welcome neighbors and friends. Those still on the plantation.....well lets just say I want no part of you. Stay with the rest of Holder’s people.
