The summer of 2013 is over in a few days, and has had the fewest 40ºC (104F)temperature readings of any year in the last nine decades. There were only 832 40ºC (temperatures recorded in 2013, compared to 8,357 in 1936.
The climate is changing in the direction of being very moderate
Look at all that “global warming” back in the 1930’s. What did they do without Al Gore back then?
Most of the summer has been like lower Michigan. Wet, no drought and cool, 75-85 every day.
Well, it didn’t feel that way last night or today here in MN, but you’re right, it has been a “cooler” summer.
Looks like they mostly only had this guy to scam the sheeple;

Actually, summer still has almost a month to run, and after 47 inches of snow in my yard in April this year, it’s arriving late.
We’re having record heat here in God’s Country and the dog days are the dog days like we haven’t seen in years.
But that’s weather. Not climate.
Why look at 104? Why not go lower? We have had very few 90 degree plus days in Tennessee.
My lawn mower can't take it. I'm supposed to be mowing every two or three weeks this time of year (Or just take the summer off like last year). If I go 6 days I have to rent goats instead of mowing.
Yestday night one station had a count of 90° days. I think it was only 8 which was below the 14 average and almost 40 last year.
Don't tell man-bear-pig!
You'll shatter his illusions.
Paging Al Gore - clean up on aisle 7
Don’t worry, once the climate scientists at Penn State and East Anglica get done torturing that data, they’ll confess to anything.
Climate Broohaha
The earth had a fever, got plenty of rest, drank some water, took some aspirin and is now feeling much better.
We have finally hit summer here in Minnesota. Temps in the high 90s. It looks like it will last for at least a week into labor day.
Weather varies. Temp is up, temp is down. Trying to explain why, coherently, is doomed to failure.
Yes, but it's dangerously moderate. Unbelievably, extremely moderate. If this keeps up it will be too moderate to support life and we'll all die.
We have to end capitalism now.
This summer in Virginia was the coolest I can remember. Temps got above 90 for only two days, and we spent long stretches in the low 80s and even high 70s. Amazing.
The global warming hoax continues to die, despite the frantic efforts of ManBearPig....
