Biggest livestock deal in Kingdom
A Saudi businessman bought a white goat for a whopping SR13 million (Dh12.5 million) in the biggest livestock deal in the oil-rich Gulf Kingdom.
The owner said his male goat fetched that sum because it is one of the rarest and “most beautiful” goat breeds in the region.
“It was the largest single deal to involve the sale of a sheep in the Kingdom,” Arar newspaper said in a report from the Saudi capital Riyadh.

It’s just that it’s such an inflated price. They obviously just want him because he’s all white. A really good Saanen buck with outstanding conformation and pedigree would go for about a grand here.

Just google image “Saanen dairy goat”. We raised that breed for over 20 years. Been out of it (breeding for 4 years)our last girl Mira who was 10 sadly we had to have the vet out down a couple of weeks ago. Yep I could have made a bundle I suppose.
