Earth has gained 19,000 Manhattans of sea ice since this date last year, the largest increase on record. There is more sea ice now than there was on this date in 2002.

I lived thru global cooling—Paul Erlich’s screed on ice ages by 1979. Then global warming—turn in your aerosol cans. Then global warming again—dying polar bears. Then climate change (no clue as to which way it was gonna go, that way all bases were covered). Then Al Gore jetting his fat ass around the country talking up his tax deductible scam that got him richer than Jesus. Screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice, shame on me.
We’re now entering the era of man-made boring temperate temperatures. To think that mass purchases of Prius autos are going to cancel out something real—like a solar flare—is as good an example of progressive idiocy as we’re likely to see.
