Facebook has apologised for publishing a dating ad featuring a photo of a 17-year-old who had killed herself after complaining of being cyber-bullied.
Canadian Rehtaeh Parsons took her own life in April having been severely bullied after a separate photo, showing her alleged rape by four boys, was circulated online, her mother has said.

"This is an extremely unfortunate example of an advertiser scraping an image from the internet and using it in their ad campaign," a spokesman said.

This doesn’t read “legitimate dating service” to me. It reads “sick joke.” Facebook banned them and nobody will miss them.
“Heather” back-to-front ???
And in general... people can be so, so mean.
If society was saner, beholding such a photo of an assault by the four monstrous boys would have garnered her, not bullying, but multiple offers to help her get justice.
The devil is just romping roughshod over people today and it never had to be. God’s power vastly outclasses the devil’s. However God won’t interject that power until He has been asked. God isn’t a bully. The devil’s a bully.
Yes that how it reads. How it is pronounced I’d be curious. “Reh-tay”?
This is shameful, but not surprising.
Change your profile picture to a graphic saying “I DID NOT ENDORSE THIS PRODUCT.” See how many ads use it to endorse their product. Embarrass them.
Wouldn’t she be underage anyway?
My guess is Re-tay-eh.
Three syllables.
With an “Uh” sound where the “e” letters are.
A long “aaaaa” sound where the “a” letter is.
Emphasis on the middle syllable.
Ruh - TAY - uh.
Say WHAT?
Even hackers have a heart... whaddya know. They did what the police wouldn’t.
Fascinating. I'd never noticed until now.
How it is pronounced Id be curious. Reh-tay?
Or "Ray-tay," more or less, according to our media.
