Brad Pitt was the star of the movie “World War Z,” about a zombie apocalypse.

Not worth watching.

Their point was “stand your ground” laws encourage you to lure people you have a grudge against into a situation where you can shoot them. And then claim you were threatened.

It was not funny. And I don’t even own a gun.

I didn’t see it as even a fair episode either. I could see others getting it all wrong but Parker and Stone usually have their facts straight before making the show. Not this time. Looks like they phoned that one in or had other people do it. Wasn’t even timely.

From this show it looks like maybe they’re just tired of doing it and are just going through the motions of meeting their contractual obligation. Could this be their last season?

Thanks.

I don’t watch any Hollywood movies. It’s violent nonsense.

I just watch the NFL.

I’m a Cowboy fan. Tony Romo is fun to watch. I have a concussion and brain damage from banging my head against the wall though when he chokes after playing a great game.

Agree - this one wasn’t that funny except in small places - the Mr. Mackey scenes were good and the Cartman family was cute - but the larger point was totally missed.

They usually do nail the topic from a libertarian perspective.

So much so that I think their recipe is:

1. Take CATO scholars talking points
2. Add pop culture references to recent movies
3. Use their natural God given comical satirical abilities
4. Try to offend everyone equally

Trey Parker has been the primary writer for years, much more so than Matt Stone. What’s interesting this year is that Bill Hader, formerly of SNL, is on the South Park staff full-wime. I wonder if he’s bringing more of a lefty view to the show now.

Does anybody think the circle Cartman painted around himself at the end was a reference to The Obama and his “red line”? That was the first thing I thought of.

I think you are reading too much into it. It’s a comedy show.

Made by people who love to create layer upon layer of humor. Yeah, I might be reading too much into that scene, but there is precedent. Remember the episode about sacrificing the child stars for a good harvest? The last line, while they were looking at Miley Cyrus (who hadn’t yet gone over the edge) was “It’s gonna be a good harvest next year...”
