I Love This Country

"One of the most startling revelations of moving back to the U.S. is the ubiquitous friendliness and I’m rolling around in it like a dog in fresh grass....none of which could really explain this truly awesome bit of reverse culture shock for me.

It’s not that Europeans are exactly un-friendly, especially Italians, who are in fact very polite and kind to strangers, and warm to friends and family, but I lived in Texas for 15 years before moving to Europe and being openly friendly to complete strangers was (is) deeply part of my personality,....

I tried to be civil to him and he went all whiny-ass punk bitchy on me. Par for the course.

It's just pre-zot behavior. It'll pass after he gets a good strong dose of the holy amperage.

Naw, it was him. I tangled with his condescending arse once before and put him on the KMA list.

Now I get to dance on his steaming carcass.

Next time I bring the obvious truth to the conversation, I’ll add in some cute nursery rhyme pics so your tender sensitivities don’t explode.

if someone leaves the country and their citizenship behind, they can go to Hell.

I don't even care that much. If someone chooses willingly to forsake America and their American citizenship, then I say bon voyage and good luck.

It's when they turn around and start mocking us who stay, that I drop any pretense of civility. They can KMA, then proceed directly to whatever hell they choose over MY country.

“Bully”?
Lol, if your crapfest could stand on its own you wouldn’t fear scrutiny.
Funny thing, a bunch of the twu bwoo trolls tossed the “bully” label when caught.

What would you care about term limits for?
You fled the country to commieland.
And act smug about that fact.
Yet you flapped your gums nonstop with “advice” for those of us still in the states.
Sorry loser coward, you lost any base to preach from when you fled the battlefield like a kid running into his house to continue taunting from the second floor window.

Indeed, some of the claims made sounded a bit far fetched for Nicaragua, but I do not have personal experience there, so...

You’re welcome for the ping; just returning the favor. [smiles]

Mother! When did you take over Marcella's Account?

Just Kidding. Everything you said is right on! My Mother is from The U.K. and I heard that every time a relation would visit from back home.

One of the things that makes America great is our access to the "Simple Things" can you imagine your life without a 80 inch Plasma TV? Well, Yes as a Matter of fact I can.

But could you imagine it without things like Canned Soup, Toilet Paper and Soap (that doesn't cost your first born)?

They Just opened an Academy Sports here in KC. It is awesome, Cabelas selections without the Legends Tax added to it.

I went to Guam this Summer for....Business, and they have the Worlds Largest K-Mart there.

While it is nothing special to me, its about the size of a Super Walmart, the Japanese FLOCK to it!

They come there to buy the "Simple Things" and ship it back to Japan because it is so much cheaper there (although to me, growing up in the middle of the country it seemed on the expensive side)

But it was cheap for the Japanese.

Guam was nice (and technically part of the USA) I was SO happy to be home, you should have seen the numbers of Forgien Turoist in Guam and Hawii just wanting to get just a taste of American Culture, Taiwanese, Japanese, Koreans, Russians, Australians.

P.S. They have Rows of Spam in their store that literally would go up to the ceiling in my house, and almost just a long. Every Single Kind you can think of they had. The Chamorrans and Japanese LOVE Spam.

Double P.S. the Shooting Industry is Booming in Guam, because the Japanese are strict with Gun Control, they flock to Guam to try it out, Literally Shooting Ranges on Every Block, Hell they even have on at their War Memorial

From: The Official FR Round-File Office.

To: Ex-Pat Retiree Living in Nicaragua on SS Nestegg.

Subject: FR Feedback Form.

Dear: Mr./Mrs./Metrosexual/Ms./Bisexual/Transsexual/Ambiguous/Unknown

Please complete and send in the attached FR ButtHurt form so that FR can retain, in our circular file, a historical record of your life-cycle here on FR.

Note: It is highly recommended that you renounce your U.S. Citizenship now.

That way, the U.S. citizens you are currently mocking (and attempting to talk into abandoning this great country) will not have to suffer you sneaking back into a country you clearly aren't interested in fighting for, when your paradise fails you.

P.S. When the SS "lock box" runs dry, and the SS checks stop, be sure and have a Plan B, like:

a. Picking and selling coconuts;

b. Metal detecting for treasure on your beach;

c. Growing some of those Juan's coffee beans on your farm, or most likely;

d. Working as a peon for the Sandinistas when they come calling to arrest all the "Filthy Americanos" who are ruining their country.

P.P.S. Non-English versions of this form are available on request.

You have to remember how expensive fresh beef is on those islands, SPAM is probably one of the main meats on some of them.

I wish I had land. Enough to set up a fishing-hunting experience for Koreans and Japanese (and wealthy Chinese), show them things you still have freedom to do in this country.
