A man whose skull was smashed to bits in a horrific lawnmower accident has had it replaced using an implant created with a 3D printer.

Dr. Pawel Kolasa, head of neurosurgery at the hospital in Łódź where Mr. Lesiow was taken, said: The patient had massive trauma to the skull, with a hole showing part of the brain. He was lucky to have survived.

Thank God! Do you know how difficult it is to replace a good lawnmower?
Now that we can mow our lawns with a 3D printer implant all our lives will be safer and easier.
I’ve heard of getting your foot in the lawbmower, but your head? Was the grass very tall?
Way too tall. He promised his doctors he wouldn’t let it get ahead of him again.
They will have to change the warning signs on all lawn mowers.
Keep hands and feet and heads out from under the mower.
I didn’t get the size or make of the mower, but all of mine have turnoff mechanisms if the operator doesn’t engage the machine. Obviously, this guy’s mower didn’t have one.
