Will they kill stink bugs, and how soon before Dollar General imports them?

Look on the bright side. These bugs could be the beginning of a new shotgun sport.

Strange, I just killed about 50 or so that we’re clustered in the biggest nest I have ever seen. I live in central Texas.

According to one site they’re already here. One was spotted in Illinois but it’s unconfirmed as far as I can tell.

1. I am 50 years old. I’ve lived in the DC area my whole life.
2. About 12 years ago, I started seeing gigantic, thumb sized hornet/wasp things all over the place-the largest I have ever seen in my entire life.
3. Either they have been around for 50 years and I never noticed them (impossible, right?) or they are brand new to the region, and I am the only person to take notice of them. (Impossible, right?)
What gives? It is one of the most baffling things I’ve ever encountered.

I suspect it won’t be long before some “well-meaning” Chinese immigrant brings some in and releases them into the American wild. Thank you for the snakehead fish, the stink bugs and the coming killer hornets.
