Liberals don't just indulge in magical thinking - the entire point of liberalism is to live inside magical thinking.
As a result, liberals allow themselves to believe that their chosen method of power, namely soft-totalitarian socialist-communism, is not just powerful, but infinitely powerful.
Because magical thinking is not just a partial break from personal responsibility, it is an absolute break that requires an absolute power to protect them from every having to come out of it.
So, when the limits of their power finally are broken by the realities of the actual world they live in, they literally cannot grasp what they are seeing - because it represents the collapse of their belief in their omnipotence.
Obamacare won't work, because Obamacare can't work.

ObammyCare was not designed to work anyway. It is a step to single-payer health insurance, meaning the government, and more money (taxes) and control. The Dems will try to use the inherent problems in the un-ACA to force even more laws and restrictions on the American people.

Not just that but “healthcare” is a cover for all sorts of government intrusions and control buried in Obamacare.

I stayed up most of the night listening to Sen. Ted Cruz. He talked about Sen. Harry Reid. Reid told him that Obamacare was supposed to be a train wreck. It was designed to fail. What it was going to do was destroy the free market health care system. It is a Trojan Horse. People will see it as the ultimate perfection of big government. Then, will come the collapse of free market healthcare. When that comes, a crisis will come. Big Government will announce the solution: Single Payer government controlled health care. As Rahm Emanuel said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”
You’re right. It’s designed to fail and collapse the medical industry across the spectrum of providers and insurers in order to give the government justification to nationalize everything. They’ll impose a Department of National Health on us along with a single-payer/single-provider system.

LOL, don't you see - They know Obamacare doesn't work, AND they know single payer doesn't work, because they are BOTH collectivist.
The only purpose is the destruction of the economy, laws and society - the wreckage it leaves in its wake. The fact that it's a two-step process is merely a functional issue. The fundamental issue is that liberals still think that Collectivism works.
And watch - when Obamacare collapses, and liberals are desperate, their masters will roll out single-payer, and the SAME liberals will grab it for the SAME reason they grabbed Obamacare.
Because the same delusional thinking is still going on.
Obama never intended for it to WORK. It was intended to destroy the system. In that sense it will.
