Sacrificial goats have been stolen from the house of Pakistani Test cricketer Imran Farhat in Lahore.
According to police report, Farhat a resident of Valencia Town in Lahore had bought two goats for sacrifice ahead of Eid Al Adha which will fall in Pakistan on Wednesday October 16.
Last night, thieves broke into Imran Farhats house and whisked away two goats which were bought for Eid Al Adha.
The family had filed a police complaint.
Opening batsman Imran Farhat has not been included in the current Pakistani team which is playing its home series against South Africa in the UAE. The first test began in Abu Dhabi on Monday (today).
Doesn’t that just get your goat when people do things like that?
Eid - just some bloodletting to tide us over ‘til Ashura.
Someone needs a prom date?

Sounds like an elopement. Kids today!
I hate sex crimes.

Nevermind. I thought it said IED goat.
Does that sentence make sense to anybody?
Actually, it does. “Eid” is a Moslem holiday on which they sacrifice goats. (Do they have holidays on which they don’t sacrifice goats?) “Pak” is an abbreviation for “Pakistani.” “Cricketer” is a guy who plays cricket, which is extremely popular in Pakistan.
One of our NC forum guys used to live in Durham in an apartment complex with a large percentage of immigrant IT workers. He said they had India vs. Pakistan cricket grudge matches in the parking lots every weekend.
