To: lowbridge; Revolting cat!

If Curly was alive today he’d be a very old and sick man.

After his stroke (1945?) he tried for awhile to continue but he was never the same old Curly. Shemp to the rescue.

Funniest man who ever lived (IMHO) and a hugh part of my childhood. “Gents Without Cents” is my favorite - it’s the one with the famous “Niagara Falls” line. It is also one of the rare ones when they get the girls in the end.

Don't know if they're on line, but you'll notice that he's a step or two ‘slower’ and not the familiar “nyuk, nyuk, nyuk, Curly.

It’s not well known, but Curly Howard was also an accomplished stage actor. He starred in the Broadway productions of OUR TOWN and A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE.

If you have Roku (a streaming device) or a Blu-ray player that has wireless, you can sign up for Crackle for free and they have all the Stooges shorts. They are also on YouTube as well.

My father shared the Stooges with me when I was very young (this was the early 80s). Every time I see them I think of my dad, and when he’s gone, they will be an eternal reminder of what my dad meant to me.

Curly had a hell of a lot better throwing form than today’s stooge, Obama.

The ‘Niagara Falls’ skit was Abbot and Costello.
