Simple statement: The Healthcare Act is going to fail from sheer incompetence of implementation OR we're going to have revolution if they get it working and force it on the American people. Once people see how much it is REALLY going to cost, you will not be able to make them accept it. More than likely it will fail and Congress will wisely repeal it.
Yes. It will morph into a Medicare-style program.
To avoid revolution, soon the premiums will be made somewhat lower than the current offerings.
The insurance companies' involvement will be eliminated, making it Single-Payer.
Then, like Medicare, special taxes will be withheld from your paycheck to pay the premiums.
Just like Medicare, the "low" premium prices will be made up by draining the Treasury's general fund, effectively subsidizing everyone's coverage.
And the program will lose money as long as it lasts.
.
nope on the revolution. dims will just call for more spending.
they’re already doing it now to “fix the website.”
americans have become to fat and lazy to fight.
Great minds think alike!! :-)
