It’s the age-old question: what’s better, a cat or a dog? Surely there can only be one winner in the domestic animal personality competition.

The answer is obvious: dogs are far superior. But if you’re not convinced, allow YouTube to argue the case…

1. You can’t play hide and seek with a cat

The cat would obviously just use the opportunity to go and find new humans who didn’t try and engage them in such childishness.

2. Cats are glass-half-empty kind of creatures

Dogs think the thing that is happening right now is the BEST THING THAT’S EVER HAPPENED.

I think my chow chow is a much better pillow than a cat. A better pillow than a pillow in fact. Last night as I finally headed to bed, she was sound asleep, streteched out across the headboard having pushed my pillows aside, so I just grabbed her instead and off to sleep I was. I don’t even think she woke up until morning.

I’ve been a dog person all my life, but having had a feline guest for a few months last winter, I can see why people love cats as much as dogs. VERY cool little character! We’ve decided that there’s a kitty in our future (amazingly, the pups concur) one of these days. They’re different, but better is in the eye of the beholder.

The smartest, sweetest, funniest, most beautiful & ADORABLE critter in the whole world, ever- is yours, dog(s) or cat(s). And that’s exactly the way it should be.
