No doubt the powers-that-be at Duke are extremely upset. Within a day or so, Duke will announce that a scholarship and an endowed professorship has been established in her name. Feeling that it cannot be seen as a slacker in these matters, UNC-CH will announce that a building on the Chapel Hill campus has been renamed in the woman's honor.
