Stargate Universe sucked due to it focusing on being a soap opera with political issues crammed into the script.
It was a mercy kill.
By the time the writers started writing sci fi and not soap opera crap, it was far too late, and even then they STILL refused to give up the soap opera crap.

10. SGU Stargate Universe

WE were fans of all those before that mess. Trying to push homosexual issues while having a cast of characters that each and every one had significant dislikeable traits made it a short run with us.

I actually got into SGU... but when they would turn things into some stupid soap opera or some agenda push for the one asian clamlicker on the ship.. I would just groan.

I moved during season 2 and lost track of how everything turned out.
