A Centerville pastor accused of child molestation was released on $25,000 bond Friday.
The Houston County jail web site said that Wiley Leverett was released around 8 a.m.
His attorney,William Noland, said Leverett will not make any public statements, but will return to work at Solid Rock Community Church and his auto dealership.
"He'll be working and taking care of his family and his church," said Noland. "He denies all of the allegations against him, and he denies doing anything inappropriate with anyone. He's going to fight these charges in court."
Leverett pleaded not guilty Thursday during a hearing before Houston County Superior Court Judge Katharine Lumsden.
She set the bond, ordered him to wear an electronic bracelet and said he should not have any contact with children under 18.
13WMAZ's Judy Le reports that about 60 people who appeared to be friends and supporters of Leverett attended the hearing, but none would comment.

Oh, he had a solid all right. What a creep. Shame on the congregation for supporting him. Those poor little girls.
“What is wrong with this picture? “
He’s accused, but not convicted, and false accusations are common in these types of things?
I wouldn’t convict a person on allegations (or charges filed). A person is only convicted after the state has proved their case in court of law to a jury of his peers.
Those poor little girls.
-——— yeah hang him, we know he is guilty, other wise why would he be accused, he must have touched them or at least made eye contact with them so he is guilty, why waste money on a trial just hang him.
Are you suggesting that we forgive him, or condemn him?
I would suggest that the state prove its case to a jury ... first!
Because the are no victims until he has been convicted? Do you prefer the Soviet system?
Oh wait, he isn’t a Catholic priest. Hang him.
What I see wrong with this picture is that apparently all it takes is an accusation to destroy a man's life. People like yourself already have him convicted without a trial, not knowing any of the circumstances involved.
When I was in school, we studied the Salem witch trials of the 1690s and clucked our tongues on how ignorant and naive people were in those days and how much our judicial system has improved since then.
Well, not really.
I suggest we keep him away from a place that has children around till the trial is held. It’s not enough to say “you can’t teach Sunday school or drive the church van” because every church has kids all over the building. Think about it, is someone going to escort him every single time he has to take a leak? His bail should have been revoked or he been on home confinement until the trial is held.
If his church decides to remove him as pastor or otherwise restrict his access to the church, well that is up to them. If they have not already done so, that tells me they may have reason to believe that the allegations against him are false or there may be extenuating circumstances that the rest of us are not aware of.
So according to your logic, if somebody was to lodge an accusation against you, are we to deprive you of your livelihood even before those accusations have been proven in a court of law?
Yes, unless they are a Catholic priest.
