Hey,
been trying to find the name of the style of a certain shower/window curtain set, that JC Penney sold in the 1990s, that was pretty popular.
It has diamonds and arches in it, and the arches kind of remind you of medieval arch sconces.
On the bottom were horizontal color band lines, and the diamonds ended here, and then from there up two-thirds of the way it was mainly a solid color with diamond shapes spaced in a grid pattern, and then the upper part had the arch patterns. The bottom of the arches joined one another and joined at a gold heart-shaped/spade point design.
The colors for it came two ways: a dark blue/green/gold/black combo, and a red/green/blue/gold combo. They sold a matching window curtain for each shower curtain if you wanted that.
I just have no idea what the name/style name of this particular line is. Any help is appreciated. I am trying to track down the matching curtains but I need to know the name of the line for my searching to be successful.
I know...But it’s a secret...I promised not to tell...
they aren’t but they do remind you of it.
Do you have anything on them, or their packaging, that says what style line they are?
i’m going stream of thought today, been digging out from the snow in between other tasks.
Maybe Michelle Obama would know. She buys dresses made from old shower curtains.
Good luck. After snow, sleet, freezing rain and regular rain fell yesterday (live outide of baltimore) it’s more snow tonight.
Not too much to dig out from, though.
The last time I saw it, my SO was using it as a paint tarp.
I do recall it being quite a popular design. There was even a bedding line. You might want to try walmart online — discontinued items.
yeah I also used to have bedding like this, only instead of red it was the blue/green/gold combinations.
Liners make THE best paint tarps! They are heavier and the little weights keep them from floofin’ up with a breeze.
I suspect you’re talking about the “Amalfi” pattern. Search it up.
Go to Google and enter Amalfi pattern shower curtain into search field and click “images”. Think you’ll see it there.

The vinyl shower curtains used the BPA that the liberals have been bashing for the past five years or so. They claim that it gets into the water and poisons. There is absolutely no proof, but like every other stupid PETA campaign, if they tell the lie long enough and often enough, it eventually becomes their truth.
Yes, the BPA started as a PETA campaign.
That was quick!
thanks, that’s the name alright. see this is why i ask HERE, Freerepublic is a search engine. I know I’ve helped people here with questions if I knew an answer or part of one to get them going. Appreciate everyone’s help on this.
“Is that a curtain rod you’re hanging—or are you just glad to see me in the shower?”
Thanks! First thing I thought of when I saw the title!!
Look on etsy and ebay
