The liberal media watchdog group backed by billionaire George Soros says its “war” on Fox News is over, claiming it has neutralized the right-leaning network and no longer sees it as a threat.

“It’s not just that it’s over, but it was very successful,” Media Matters Executive Vice President Angelo Carusone bragged late this week to The Huffington Post.

“To a large extent, we won,” he said. …

Neutralized sounds about right. Fox has been diluted and is now only slightly better than CBS, which to me is their closest competitor.

Conservative talk radio has also taken hits in the market I live in, with one talk station bailing and switching to all sports and the local Limbaugh station lowering its conservatism with moderate and new liberal personalities.

Oh well...nothing lasts forever. We and our gnarly one-stream media are under new ownership and management.

I suspect following the money will show that ownership has its privileges, including deciding on what "we report" to influence what "you decide".

Perks aside, Fundamental Societal Transformation isn't easy, but it can be lucrative. A trillion skimmed here, a trillion in bailouts there, and pretty soon you're talking real money.

I read Yogi Berra’s book, “When you come to a fork in the road, take it”. Besides being one of the greatest catchers in the history of the game, he is in his own unique way, incredibly smart and insightful.

Yep, one of my favorite players. As a loonnnnggggggggggggg time MLB addict I rate only Bench ahead of him for overall physical skill at the catcher’s position on my ‘all time’ team. The ‘Old Perfesser’, Casey Stengel, said Yogi was the smartest player he ever managed and as you mentioned, very smart in life’s ways. He is an American treasure in my book!

That’s when we know they are winning. Instead of having (or ‘nudging’, or FORCING) the “Latinos” to come to us...they, the Flea Market CONservatives, go to them.

...it has neutralized the right-leaning network and no longer sees it as a threat.

A threat to precisely WHAT? To the cause of world domination by Soros and his "progressive" minions?

BTW- Fox News Channel is not “right-leaning”

Except by comparison to the others, who refuse to cover so much if it gives lie to their progressive viewpoint.

Sorry, The Blaze....

Autocorrect, huh? Makes for some interesting typos.

Unfortunately, the “Blaze” is not available for us.

I absolutely loved Beck’s program when he was on FOX. We did not have DVR then, but I almost never missed that show. My husband and I would plan our day so that we would catch it.

Can’t bear to listen to his radio program. I find it very annoying and confusing when he and his 2 buddies are cracking their inside jokes.

I don’t understand why people say “FOX” when they mean “Fox News Channel”...can only speak for myself - I never watch anything on the other Fox (except the Sunday football games) but I do watch Fox News and Fox Business throughout the week - in effect the "other Fox" doesn't exist for me and doesn't come to mind when thinking about Fox......
