In the fallout over Wednesdays suspension of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson by A&E for anti-gay and racist remarks, GLAAD is experiencing record levels of backlash. In the five-and-a-half years Ive worked at GLAAD, Ive never received so many violently angry phone calls and social media posts attacking GLAAD for us speaking out against these comments, the media watchdog organizations vice president of communications Rich Ferraro told TheWrap. He said those reactions range from those who simply believe as Robertson believes to those who feel that GLAAD and A&Es actions limit the reality stars free speech. Also read: Duck Dynasty: Inside the Decision to Suspend Phil Robertson (Exclusive) I dont think this is about the first amendment, Ferraro said. I feel its more about the America we live in today. That is one where Americans, gay and straight, are able to speak out when people in the public eye make anti-gay and racist remarks.

This guy really works at GLAAD?
If he does, he and his program will lose all credibility and the alternate lifestyle folks will have won.
It’s only “the America we live in” because the silent majority has been silent. The homosexual gestapo has bowled over everyone. They have had no push back, until now. That’s the only reason they think “the America we live in” is accepting of their perverted behaviour. Guess what.....they’re not.
What did he say that anyone could possibly construe as being racist?
A group of militant queers, GLAAD, is now a “media watchdog group”? Are you kidding me? Who the hell is watching the “watchdogs”?
Queers are a race?
Must be part of the rainbow coalition.

Awwwwww, - - - - .
The Homo Bullies got a tiny taste of their own medicine.
Tsch, tsch, tsch.
Robertson gave some anecdotes of his personal experience of life in black and white pre-welfare state, and the MSM is trying to gin that up into “racism” and falsely saying he said “before civil rights”. He said nothing of the kind, and opposition to the welfare state is both a conservative and a Biblical principle since Adam was kicked out of Eden.
Not going to dig out the quote right now, but something along the lines of how blacks and whites got along better before the civil right movement. Certainly something that the left could/would twist to fit their agenda.
I’m sure the feminazis are doing that (they’re just waiting their turn for the microphone, behind the sodomites and the racebaiters), because the family’s latest statement referred to their “patriarch”.
More like MAAD than GLAAD.
May the pushback and the backlast grow even stronger. I’ve had it with this PC/Marxist nonsense.
There's a difference between speaking out, and silencing someone because you don't like what they had to say.
Tried to post this twice already. Don’t know why having trouble. Anal cancer is the gays’ new plague.
Direct excerpt from the GQ article.
Phil On Growing Up in Pre-Civil-Rights-Era Louisiana:
I never, with my eyes, saw the mistreatment of any black person. Not once. Where we lived was all farmers. The blacks worked for the farmers. I hoed cotton with them. Im with the blacks, because were white trash. Were going across the field ... Theyre singing and happy. I never heard one of them, one black person, say, I tell you what: These doggone white peoplenot a word! ... Pre-entitlement, pre-welfare, you say: Were they happy? They were godly; they were happy; no one was singing the blues.
