The First Lady, who was born on October 11, 1884, became a subject of controversy when people suspected she was romantically involved with journalist Lorena Hick Hickok. While the two never publicly addressed their relationship, their letters did nothing to dispel rumors.
1. March 5, 1933: Eleanor to Hick, on the first evening after FDRs inauguration

Ewwww... a historic ewwww, though.
now we see why Hillary Rodham believed she was channeling ER
ER was telling her “Destroy your letters”
Thought waves?
Is this progressive code for prayer?
This is how DESTRUCTIVE the gay pride movement is. There is nothing in that particular letter that could not be attributed to the flowery discourse often found even between mere friends in that historical era. Now we question everyone’s relationship.
I think it’s progressive code for rubbing one out at bedtime
My....what a lovely couple.
Ahh...
Silly me.
I can see why they would be attracted to each other
read the rest of the letters and get back yo me
I agree. Eleanor Roosevelt had a lot of misery in her life. Why can’t she, retrospectively, be allowed to have had an innocent friendship that brought her some happiness.
I agree with you. As would anyone who has ever read Dracula.
Exactly. That's just how women wrote in an earlier time before gay apologists tried to turn everything gay-- including historical figures like David/Johnathan, Shakespeare, and Lincoln. To buy into this without any real, corroborating evidence is to be a historically ignorant dupe.
Agreed.
These is the same type of crap the turdburglar lobby tried to use to convince people that Lincoln was secretly on the DL as well.
From another letter
I wish I could lie down beside you tonight & take you in my arms.
Ok, that’s a bit weird.
