How many talked up obama care around the Christmas tree / table ?
Mostly I heard, “If you like your politician, you can keep your politician”.
My sister said bad words when I brought it up. LOL
We didn’t talk about it directly. We did watch “The Magnificent 7”. It was pertinent, in a way.
I spent Christmas with the Eakers.
Obama & many of his policies came up in conversation.
No quotes, this is a family forum.
Watched a lot of Duck Dynasty too.
For twenty-four glorious hours, the name of the illegitimate, bisexual, Marxist Kenyan Muslim Usurper was not uttered a single time.
We were watching Man of Steel. Even the kids liked it. With our rightwing crowd, if anyone bought Odumbocare up would automatically be strangled with Christmas lights.

We'd probably have used one of the horses' rope halters for that, but the occasion never came up, except in the context of derision for the neutered pajama boy drone and scorn for the White House usupers.
We did, but the rule was that you couldn’t talk about it without wearing some sort of flannel and you had to have a coffee cup cupped in one hand.
We were pretty much merciless.
We talked about it alright but I don’t think it’s what the queer Marxist Muslim had in mind.

All I said, real casually; was “How about that ObamaCare?”, right after grace. The whole table of eight got very quiet, until I said,”Just kidding!, Some other time, right? NOw how about those Detroit Lions, what kind of year did THEY have in your opinion?” Everybody laughed with relief, my older sister shot me a scolding look. My father, and his Ladyfriend started talking about the latest football game, and play-arguing all at once. The mood of the dinner table lifted back to a more festive moment, no longer verring close to feeling like a trip to the dentist’s office. I wont be doing that again. Apparently, ObamaCare is a ;bad word’ with most people.
