I suspect next time the Chiefs play in Pittsburgh, Ryan Succop won’t exactly get a “Hero’s Welcome.”

I suspect not. He's probably keeping a low profile here in KC as well. Perfect snap. Perfect place. Wide right.

I’ll always remember him from South Carolina when the Gators blocked a potential winning FG from him, on the way to a National Title.

Give him his due, he’s been pretty reliable during the course of his career. He’s hit a lot of crucial kicks in the past, but it’s the ones you miss that people remember. You still can’t change the fact that our second and third string played the San Diego first string to a stand-still and almost beat them.

Who cares??? There is no joy in Pittsburgh because after a impossibly improbable sequence of game outcomes had the Steelers headed to the playoffs, the Chiefs 2nd string missed a 41 yard field goal with eight seconds to go.

Yeah, and New Orleans has no crime, and is run by conservatives.

LOL!

Well, since I'm a Lions' fan, you're probably right.

Say, didja hear the one about the time the Lions and Bears walked into a bar...

...to watch the playoffs!

Go Pack!!!

I was thinking Marcus Hook. Long time ago, there were 56 bars - and 1 church. I'm sure the ratio's improved over the years. Have the Pagans moved out of the bar across from the old Vesuvio's pizza place?

That's much warmer than the last time San Diego played in Cincinnati in the month of January....

Theoretically helps the home teams, but history has shown us that ain’t necessarily so.

Not really an Eggles fan, but since tr\he Steelers are going home or to the golf course, I am rooting for said Eggles. Brees will freeze his domed tail off. You know they are not a good outside team. I expect Phila to advance.

I know the Saints’ road record is bad; however, the Eagles were average at home, and their pass D is still pretty bad. I know the weather can be a factor, but in a cold January 2003, we all thought the Eagles would handle Tampa Bay and head off to play Oakland in the Super Bowl. We were very wrong. I can never be too confident when any of my Philly teams are involved. Also, I appreciate it, but it is Iggles and not Eggles. The Iggles play in the National Football Ligue. Now, come awn, let’s all geaux down to the crick and skate on the frozen wooder.

Well here in the wilds of WV, it is the Eggles (no disrespect intended). Actually there are quite a few fans around here and you can pick them out between Deadskin and Balmore types. Steeler fans outnumber them, but it is surprising how many there are. I shall root for them and hope that NO gets chills just thinking about the game.
