2013 Bowl Season, ACC stinks, Pac12 rocks, may mean trouble for Florida State.

Florida State is the BCS favorite. But if you look at how the ACC is faring so far, it does not look good.

ACC results so far:

Marshall over Maryland 31-20

North Carolina over Cincy 39-17

Mississippi over Ga Tech 25-17 (it wasn't that close)

Arizona over Boston Col. 42-19

UCLA over Virginia Tech 42-12

so the ACC is 1-5 by a total score of 157-107.

What I conclude is to bet on Auburn to beat Florida State.

You right-coasters overlook the PAC12, we’re pretty tough year to year with few exceptions, expect Stanford to beat Michigan State in the Rose Bowl tomorrow and in closing, the SEC is WAY over-rated/rant off :-)

I tried for 45 minutes when tickets went on sale via Ticketmaster with no luck. So will be watching from home! Daughter heads back Thursday and I think they leave Saturday very early for the airport with the band. Team left for Pasadena today!

Pac12 and SEC do not play each other in any bowl games.

It is a shame because these are the two best conferences.

Pac12 is really good and it is a shame Pac12 does not play SEC in bowl games.

Stanford is a 7 pt. favorite over MSU. I think it is funny the pollsters vote MSU ahead of Stanford but the money guys go the other way.

21-3 now. It’s not just the score though. Duke is absolutely dominating every aspect of the game. It’s as if A&M didn’t even bother to prepare for this game.

Pittsburgh over Bowling Green 30-27

You also need to work on your math, since even the games you list show the ACC record at 1-4, not 1-5.

The focus of playing for nothing while being "wined and dined" at tourist attractions is a lot different than the focus of playing for the National Championship.

Heck, for several SEC teams if you don't get to the NC game your season is a failure and whatever Bowl you are playing in is meaningless, so might as well party.

I did not know Syracuse and Pitt were in the ACC. I thought that happened next year when Maryland leaves for the big 10.

But those two wins are mostly unimpressive since the big 10 is 0-2 and the Mac is 1-4.

I still say it looks bad for the ACC.

Not so fast my friend , The last time I checked Pittsburgh and Syracuse are in the ACC so the ACC is 3-5 and Duke is winning and Clemson is on deck. Florida State will outright win , box to wire. Auburn has lived a blessed life , which is fixing to end.
