I see where this was removed from FREE Republic with the reason given by the 'moderator' as it being a rip off.

This was posted on GOP's site and credit was given to AP for writing the artucle, it then excerpted.

Please keep this posting in place. It is a perfect example of an entitled mentality demanding special treatment. Why? Because he exists and the rest of us are required to bow to his will. I posted my own name, address and phone number once, only to have it fairly quickly removed (after about 10 minutes) and warned by the moderator that that was a no, no.
I've had threads (plural) removed before and didn't question the mods, I figured they had their reason(s).
Look at it this way friend, the owner and mods must have some respect for you or you wouldn't still be here..

You are digging your own grave with your rant. Agree or disagree with Jim or the mods, its either respect the rules and decisions with calm and quiet pause... or simply exit stage left.
Nothing Jim or the mods did was unusual or targeted, it was simply policy. Sure sometimes we get rubbed by those policies when it personally happens but its in-place for everyone’s consideration.
I suggest you cool your jets and re-group your thoughts. And if you are a staunch conservative as you claim to be... then be classy & humble, and make your case without the ego and barbs.

Some of us on this thread have lived so long that we believe we’re entitled to ‘intelligent’ discourse.
We’re genuinely shocked when some little shorty who is supposed to be a Jew and somehow (some convoluted method used by Barack Obama)was elected to represent an important segment of New York in Congress takes a picture of his weiner and broadcasts it to the world.
Free Republic is to me a sort of exclusive club wherein the members read and post items that are above mere prurient interest. That’s what I have been doing for years now.
I’ve already apologized to the mods, but nothing that was said to Jim was untoward as I think enough of him to send money in order to keep this website solvent. Some day I want to meet Jim as I feel we have much in common.
I’ll continue to be a supporting member of this website through written support as well as money. There is NOT another website that can come close to this one. I hold all who post here in the highest regard.

I’m 81,and it’s nice to know there are more of my generation around.
By the way,my mother had a friend named Marcella and it’s the only other time I have heard the name.

Not many people have my name and I made a mistake when I signed up here in 2000 by using my right name. My mother picked that name but there is not another one in the family. My father wanted to name me, Priscilla, but my mom said people would call me, Prissy. Later, she said she should have named me that because I was prissy.
My husband and I stopped at a service station for gas and I handed him my credit card. He went inside and in a minute, the lady clerk came charging to the car. She was from Greece and there is an island there named “Marcella” for a Marcella woman who was later named a saint so they changed the name of the island to her name. This lady was really excited to find someone with that name. By the way, Mears, I am not a saint.
I do not see that being 80 means anything at all. When I was young I hung out with people older than I because they were interesting to learn from. As I got older past a certain point maybe late 60s, I started hanging out with younger people because the older ones had given up doing anything.
Thanks for posting so I know there is at least one older than I am on here. Granted, it's only a year, but that still makes you older than I am.

So far on this thread alone your actions/comments have:
1. Demanded the names of folks that operate this site, opening them up to cyber bulling/attack.
2. Literally compared Free Republic and the mods to communist East Germany.
3. Accused the mods, Jim, and John of censorship - a government action.
4. Implied that your right to free speech is being abused/withheld from you. This is a privately owned property, you have no free speech rights here.
5. Attacked, repeatedly and personally, those that disagree with your PERCEPTION of what has been communicated/has happened. I realize that perception is reality, but it is only YOUR reality. When your perception is challenged, maybe it is time to put yourself in the other person's shoes, rather than stepping on his toes and punching him in the nose.
6. Many folks that I have provided career coaching to exhibit the same “I have been wronged” viewpoint that you exhibit on this thread. It takes months, sometimes years, to get them to look at their behavior dispassionately, and the implementation of various communication tools to correct this behavior. One of these is very simple - Never send a message (oral,written,email) under any emotional state except calmness. Any angry email should be deleted twice, and reconsidered/rewritten, before sending.
7. You are blinded by your anger. This is not uncommon, but can be overcome with persistence. This is exhibited in this thread by your response to my reference to you calling Jim a communist. Your vehement denial came quickly, before you remembered that you had compared this site and the mods to “communist East Germany”. I am not a psych doc, nor do I play one on TV. I am however a observer of human interactions, and spend a lot of time training people for success. You can use these comments or not, ridicule me or not, post to FR or not, to me it matters not. Your actions will not affect me no matter what you do. I have a couple of closing questions (I don't expect you to answer it except to yourself) - What are you going to do next? Learn from this experience and improve your skills, or stay with the same mindset and world view/outlook that is evident throughout this thread? Your life, your choice. Have a nice day and a good life.
