Freeper novel free today on Amazon.com
Self ^ | 1/10/2014 | Bern Pearson

Posted on 01/10/2014 10:51:34 AM PST by Gen.Blather

My novel “The Minor God,” by Bern Pearson, is free today on Amazon.com. It is fantasy, but its basis is conservative. So many writers use some liberal progressive meme like anthropomorphic global warming or a future without money as everybody works for enlightenment or self-actualization. (I found it hard to watch the later Star Trek episodes and movies for that reason.)

This is about a young man who discovers that everything he ever believed is false. Suddenly, there's a price on his head and he has nowhere to go and no one to turn to. To make matters worse, he's opened a doorway he can't find and can't close and something is reaching through it for him.

If you like it please put a link on any other channels you have access to.

My sincerest thanks. Bern Pearson Gen.Blather

“Bookmark.”

It’s only free today. You can download it for later. You’ll have to download a free Kindle app.

picked it up. Thanks. If I like it, I'll be sure to post a review and pick up another in the series.

I've always admired people who had the talent and discipline to finish writing a book.

“I’ve always admired people who had the talent and discipline to finish writing a book. “

It’s either that or get a real job. Besides, it makes me feel POWERFUL. I’ve got these characters begging me, “Please don’t kill me! No-oooooooooooo!”

“Picked it up, thanks!”

Enjoy. “A Plague of Dragons” comes out in March. The other two are “The Last Day of Goodie Velter,” which leads into “A Myth for the Reality Challenged.”

Can I suggest that you make a Freeper fiction writer ping list?

It may be a while, but I intend to add a review on Amazon after I have had a chance to read your book. Unfortunately I have a lot on my plate at the moment.

You should make a ping list to keep your writing and other writing-related matters in everyone’s minds because people tend to get distracted by life and need reminders to go back and follow through.

If I had published books as you have I would also build an email list and always invite people to subscribe. You can then send an occasional update, announce news such as new books or achieving a ranking or award, and perhaps some industry news.

I have had an interest in writing for many years and am on a few of these email lists myself. This is a great way to build up a fan base and get more exposure.

If you need any help doing any of these things, feel free to Freepmail me.
