The last thing the US ever needed to do was to become more like Europe, yet that is precisely the model so many liberals have used. European socialism is a miserable failure and has hurt a great many people. That this weenie of a politician is doing this is not in the least surprising. Most Marxists/socialists are narcissists. That’s why they gravitated to those sociopolitical philosophies. I wonder how this will be seen by the growing fundamentalist Islamic population of France..

Lack of morality shocks France. That is shocking!Making fun of the French is always good for a laugh, I suppose. But don't forget that they took to the streets by the hundreds of thousands to oppose gay marriage and have been steadfast in their insistence that Muslim immigrants adopt French culture.
They have their faults, but do tend to stand up for themselves from time to time.

A) She's no lady.
B) She knows better than anyone what HE is.
C) Ségolène Royal(whom he dumped for Valérie Trierweiler) is 61, Valérie is 48. The new squeeze principal, Julie Gayet, is 41.
D) How long do you think Julie can last before he moves down into the 30s?
