Scientist: Cats think you are just a big, stupid cat

Cats think you're just a a slightly big, dumb non-hostile cat. Quite specifically, he says that they treat humans as if they were their Mama Cat.

All that rubbing up against you with their tails up is apparently no more than a hopeful check that you really are just another big, fat, slovenly cat who doesn't intend to eat them with their Welsh Rarebit.

I beg to differ - my cats think I am a food-dispensing machine.

I sure hope that cat you drove out and abandoned still had his claws, so he at least had a fighting chance. And hopefully for your soul’s sake, you dropped him somewhere he could survive. But either way, what a lousy thing to do!

Sure. Figuratively speaking of course. I would not be ashamed of being called a Pu$$y, I do admire them very much.

Thanks for the warning!

Your article documents that the cat that resides on my property belongs to the Cat Killer Class.

I will be especially nicer towards my cat from now on.

Did you check under the beds?

I would say I feel sorry for people like you, but that would be a lie. I just hold you in complete contempt.

You abandoned an animal and pretty much made sure he would be unable to make it back to the home and people he found familiar. You don’t deserve cats OR dogs.

My cat kept bringing in lizards until I started praising him for bringing in lizards. Then he stopped.

Seemed that he just wanted to be acknowledged for his offering and for his hunting skills.

Hey, he was providing for the family. :)

What is “fun” is when they turn a live mouse loose in the house. The mother cat does this to teach her kitten hunting skills and the kitten is supposed to instinctively chase it and dispatch it. The mother mihgt help. Kind of cruel but that is what cats do for survival.

I am going to adopt a Maine Coone when I move out into a condo or house.

Have you ever been awakened by a cat? How do they know to slap on the face with their paws to wake you up?

I am not sure what the anthrozoologist has against pedigree breeders. All of them or just the dishonest ones that practice unethical breeding.

Have you ever been awakened by a cat?

Many times. Licking my hair and walking on my pillow are their favs.
