Apparently Charlize hasn’t been chatting with her white South Africa counterparts about guns. I think most white South Africans have guns, bodyguards, live in fortresses etc.

The other moment of entertainment I’m waiting for is when in about 3-6 mos Sean and Charlize annouonce an amicable parting of the ways. Sean will be looking at his empty gun safe and trying to remember the phone numbers of all those folks he sold to. :-)

Which brings to mind one of my favorite movie quotes:
Little Bill Daggett: Well, sir, you are a cowardly son of a bitch! You just shot an unarmed man!

Will Munny: Well, he should have armed himself if he's going to decorate his saloon with my friend.

Picture without showing the camera crew as he tried to show how concerned he was after Hurricane Katrina....

Dumbest PR move ever.......can't even bail water well, and he wants us to think he knows about guns.......

Later in the marriage, Penn was charged with felony domestic assault, a charge for which he pleaded to a misdemeanor.[16] Penn and Madonna divorced in 1989.

You're right. From his wiki page:

He's in a clear violation of the Lautenburg Amendment.

Destroying serialized weapons is illegal

No, it's not. Unless the gun was used in a crime.

Actually, it surprises me that an ultraliberal like him even owned firearms!

Plenty of the liberal elite own firearms. They just don't believe the rest of us should.

How a man like Penn who pled guilty to misdemeanor domestic assault admits to owning several dozen firearms in a blatant violation of the Lautenberg Amendment is a mystery to me.

You’d think someone who’s been arrested as much as he has would know about bailing.

I used to work with a guy that played the younger version of that character. He said they had a bucket of glasses (his were always being stomped on by someone).

Utter nonsense. Both he and his new paramour merely “rent” their guns in the form of armed body guards. “Guns for me, but none for thee.”

'Sean stated during his speech, 'Being provoked by this aforementioned strong woman and considering how liberating of bulls--t and ugliness it would be not only get rid of the guns I have in the continental United States but also to destroy them, Jeff Koons and I had a chat the other day,' Penn said. He added, 'The highest bidder gets every single one of my guns put in the hands of this iconic artist and sculptor…Koons will decommission [and] render inactive all of my cowardly killing machines.'

Jeff Koons art BUMP

as if he had any to start with.

This has all the fakery of 1960 hollywood types who “did not pay taxes to avoid supporting the war in vietnam” but did tell the irs where to find the money in a specially set aside escrow accoud for convenient garnishment.
