Just days after Governor Terry McAuliffe (D) was sworn into office, Virginia Democratic lawmakers announced their plans to push more gun control in 2014.
The Associated Press reports the proposals include the expanded background checks which McAuliffe supported during his gubernatorial campaign.

My daughter lives in VA and seemed to display a cetain antipthy towards Cuccinelli. I think she eventually voted for him, or the 3rd party candidate (same as voting for McCauliffe.)
For some reason, women in VA did not like Cuccinelli. I’m guessing that it was a combination of the McCuliffe hate campaign ads and the fact that Cuccinelli does not smile a lot. I think that lo-info women find a broad, easy smile on a candidate very appealing, and they are more willing to trust a candidate with a big, sappy grin.

Yes, the Dem is currently head by 9 votes, which actually surprised me. I really expected him to win it handily. He is extremely popular in the House District seat he currently holds (only token opposition). I had no real issues with him in the House, but I do not want to see him in the Senate.
That wasn’t my daughter. She is pro-life. But Cuccinelli did not appeal to her, or her friends. I really couldn’t get a good answer.
But McAwful has already signed two “executive orders” so he is sharpening his pen as we speak a la Obozo...
And the AG who stole the close one is another Holder who will let him “rule” unopposed.

No. I knew Obama was going to win the day the name Jeremiah Wright was mentioned and the media did nothing to follow up on it.
Was also pretty obvious when the media selected John McCain to be the GOP nominee.
