You ask a serious question. And while I know the answer to “How to Catch a Polar Bear”; I do not know how to catch an Equator Bear.

I shall google this.

Are they being slung off the earth because they’re closer to the equator? Oh, dang physics. Slower at the equator right? LOL! Or does agw negate physics and we can blame glo-bull warming.

that should be slower at the equator.

It depends on whether the Equator bear lives at the East Pole or West Pole.

Equator Bear is a band.

Are you their agent, or do you just like messing with people's heads?

When everything is equilibrium with the average global temperature;
species no longer become extinct,
the oceans no longer rise,
polar ice no longer recedes,
is that the victory point of climate change action; is climate regulation no longer necessary?

If yes, tell me what that temperature is.

No to the first, yes to the second....

A family member is traveling to Ecuador next week. I’m requesting photos of the exotic equator bears from the trip.

I thought it was faster at the equator which is why rocket launches are preferable closer to the equator.

There is actually, a bear species that lives along the equator, in Ecuador, and in several other South American countries. It is called the Speckled Bear or the Andean Bear:

Kind of funny looking in my opinion:

And yes, it is endangered. Here's the range:

Back in 1979 they actually had a bear in the animal “orphanage” at the Nairobi game park. Not any bears in Kenya to leave “orphans”!

And its endangered status likely has everything to do with 3rd worlders hunting it and absolutely nothing do do with the activism “science” of global warming.

In fact, its quite possible that it would be headed for extinction all by itself.

Polar bears are actually being swept up by the polar vortex and being dumped in the warmer climes.

The problems occurs for polar bears must become equator bears due to extreme sunburns of those very white bodies. Also there is a very lousy transportation system for getting back to the N.P. so they have to stay in Panama.

There is a polar express somewhere, I think Maine, but that too is going the wrong direction.
