El Ninos Could Double as the Pacific Warms

Or they could decrease by 50%. Either way, it will be indicated by one of their models, and therefore be considered proof of AGW.

Yeah, that’s why it’s been 15 years since the last strong El Nino.

Yeah, I’m kinda hopin’ that something will bust up the high pressure ridge off the coast of Cali sometime soon. Drove up to Tahoe last week and it’s friggin’ bone dry. Man made snow on a few of the ski runs but pretty much bare every place else. The weather prognosticators currently show nothing happening within the next couple of weeks. Stupid glo-bull climate warming. Thanks algore.

Having just returned from nearly 2 weeks in Central CA, they need rain badly. I pray that it comes slowly and evenly so that it soaks in, rather than running off in a flood.

El Niño inhibits Atlantic hurricanes. We appreciate El Niño in hurricane alley.

What about the effect of volcanoes, especially under ocean??? Cuz there are gazillions of them warming things up at unpredictable intervals, spewing dust, ash, CO2 and who knows what. It's just weather!

Well let's see. California is officially in drought status so it must be time to whip out the floods coming to hit.

Back in the 1980s, when the words EL NINO was first being thrown about by the MSM to frighten Americans, there was a massive snow storm in part of Colorado, Kansas and Nebraska. I believe it was in either October or November. It was common to have snow at that time of year.

Our local (Arkansas)weather chick was standing outside and made this statement about that storm.

“The question that is on everyone’s mind...” (then she looks straight at the camera with a look of absolute TERROR on her face) “IS THIS EL NINO!”

I wanted to throw a boot at her and did articulate my thoughts in not too good a language.
