HOLLY HILL, FL (WFLX) - A man in Holly Hill is demanding an apology after his dog was shot when police raided the owner's house last week.
Richard Stotler says the officers were at his house to serve a warrant, but the only problem was they had the wrong address.

Apology??? From cops??? Forget it. Good thing they didn't ticket you or arrest you too.

I think once they use pepper spray they have to turn it in for a fresh one, even if used once. Bullets are cheaper.

I was not saying I would do that. I was saying that “if” I did that that the same thing that the the police would do to me is what “should” happen to a police officer doing the same thing against me or anyone else. There should be a prison for doggie killer cops that is shared with terrorists and ample time for mingling. That would be karma.

Cops screw up. Cops lie about it, and cops love to shoot dogs. The best thing to do is take away their guns.

It’s not you.....it happens on average at LEAST once a day in America.

I always wonder what the cops would do if the dog owner were to calmly say, "That's alright officer. I understand. Uhhh, will you excuse me for a moment? I'd like to step inside and let my wife know. I'll be right back ..."
Because I'm thinking a lot of guys would step inside with other plans.

I am wondering kind of the same thing, except that the question after the homeowner retrieved a shotgun is “where do you live so that I can show you know how this feels?”

Well, the good news is that no Nazis died in this botched attempt at keeping the population under control. And, they don’t care about what happens next time because they are being protected by local government, the courts, the unions, the prosecutors, and their fellow law enforcement officers.

“Wrong house”, dead dogs, terrorized people.
Happens way to often to be considered accidental, nowadays.
Just my personal opinion and observation.
I don't have any factual, government provided statistics to back that up. Just a pervasive “intuition” that something is horribly wrong.
I wonder if this is how the people in Russia, China and Germany felt, several decades ago.
