Some of those can’t be accidents. But very funny.

Aren’t we supposed to be offended or something?

i think it would’ve been funnier with actual translation below it when it isn’t obvious...

for example. sixi roasted husband would be sixi roasted puff

wild germ would be wild fungus...etc

most of it, is caused by the chinese character itself having multiple meanings, and the person running the computer doesn’t know english.

there are few that have correct translations, or close enough, but they aren’t common usage in english. still, a poor effort on the “translator’s” part.

case in point, “Whatever” was translated correctly...but in order for it to make sense for english readers, it should be something like “mixed fruit juice of the day”.

Sooooooooo funny!

One thing you have to admit: Asian sign makers are highly confident about their English abilities. They are dead wrong about their abilities but their self esteem is remarkable!

wang had to burn, sounds better than the actual dish, spicy hot pot with intestines
cat ear, that’s chinese pasta type of dish made to look like a small piece of ear, no more stranger than hot dog.
a time sex thing - should be one-use feminine/health devices
no sh**ing... - well, i guess mainland china still have problem with public defecation
racist park should be either heritage park or use the phonic name.

For some reason, I find the gynocology one very funny, most likely because I can’t remember ever seeing the c word in print before (except in newspaper articles about sarah palin).

When I tried to speak Cantonese, much hilarity ensued. I never figured out why they wouldn’t tell me what was so funny.
