McCain was chosen by Soros to lose to Obama. Mission accomplished.

Folks, just remember this when you see your fellow Freepers telling you that they will vote GOP “No matter what” and that “Lesser evil” is needed because “The Dem is worse.”

The time to decide where you stand on the GOP is now. Today. Not in November when the No matter what/Lesser evil idiots are trying to scare you into voting for another liberal.

Plenty of us here on FR have taken an insane amount of crap for our ‘purist’ stance, when in fact, we have adhered to the old 80% philosophy. We understand that many of you don’t want to get into the public screaming matches that follow the lesser evil brigade around.

Stop being silent and HELP US. Your silence allows them to HELP elect more of the people giving us amnesty, HELP strip vets of benefits and HELP destroy what’s left of the country you claim you love. Give them, and by association, their GOP plantation masters no support or encouragement. Rather, tell them loudly and clearly, “Go to Hell”.

One can’t easily get out of the closet in AZ: people there turn a blind eye to truth.

Good advice. Blind allegiance to a political party, of all things, is to announce your fitness and willingness for your eventual slavery.

It WILL be used against you...sooner or later.

(Oops...too late.)

http://blogs.wsj.com/davos/2014/01/25/syria-humanitarian-crisis-grabs-attention/

Over a main course of beef fillet with asparagus on Thursday, top brass from the world’s nongovernmental organizations, philanthropists and financiers talked about Syria’s three-year conflict at a dinner hosted by George Soros.

AZ has no Recall?

If we cant get the 17th amendment repealed, then there should be one for the direct recall of a senator either through popular vote or 2/3rds of a state legislator vote.

Voted against him in the primary. Voted for him in the general. The dim was worse.

If he had been elected in 2008 (assuming he didn't start a nuclear world war ... not a good assumption there), there would be much more damage to the Second and First Amendment, we'd have McCainCare, and he'd be well on the way to 'nationalizing' most industries.

It is a reasonable speculation that McCain would've been worse for the country than Obama.

A McCain administration would've given the Democrats pretty much everything they wanted -- since the Republican Congressional minority couldn't have united in opposition, as they did to Obama.

Plus, we would've had the spectacle of a President who couldn't resist getting involved in every conflict around the globe. And with a Presidential temperament that would brook no dissent.

In the long run, we may have dodged a bullet. Certainly, the 2008 election presented the American public with a choice between the equivalent of Scylla and Charybdis.

The dim was worse. Voted against McCain in the primary. You would be shocked at how presents himself in Az. King conservative, great patriot, anti socialist. Folks that just pay attention during the election cycles think he is a tough righty. Then they quit paying attention and he goes to DC and continues his statist ways. Bottom line he lies straight to you face and he doesn’t give a damn what you think.

Shaking hands with someone at a conference or forum is hardly an indictment.

Without more substantial information, I would just write this one off as a ‘so?’. [And McCain continues to be one of my least favorite persons on the planet!]

McQueeg was formally censured by the AZ State GOP yesterday. I posted a thread but it didn’t get on a sidebar so it only has 38 responses. It’s amusing, in a way, that a story about a picture with Soros got more ink on Drudge than the Censure by his own state party.

Ever notice how McCain seems to have more ‘friends across than aisle’ than friends on his side of the aisle, except for Graham and possibly Rubio.

However, Rubio seems to be staying clear of that duo any more. He probably still feels like a used ___ after the immigration debacle.

McCain and Graham collect censures the way kids collect baseball cards.

Censures are relatively meaningless in politics.

I agree, but when all you have is a hammer things look like a nail.

He damn well should. Schumer and McCain played him like a $2 fiddle.

No, but I will to any party that denounces him. That is what the AZ GOP has apparently done.
