I have often wondered why it is that Conservatives are called the "right" and Liberals are called the "left”. By chance I stumbled upon this verse in the Bible: "The heart of the wise inclines to the right, but the heart of the fool to the left." Ecclesiastes 10:2 (NIV)
Thus sayeth the Lord. Amen.

When I read that scripture about the right, I had similar thoughts, so glad you posted it.
I don’t think that translated very well to the old French national assembly . . . but it is ironic. And it probably does already scare the lefties, hence their anti-religion stance.
The hippies of the 1960's and -70's were nothing new. The mass-media celebration of them was new, but they weren't new.
as i’ve said many times on this site. the further your beliefs diverge from the Word of God, the more leftist you are. thus an athiest is as far to the left as you can go.
