I was elated but very suspicious when communism failed suddenly in Eastern Europe in 1989. I suspected that the communist elites had decided to go underground to recoup and gain the trust of the west while attempting to rebuild their ranks.
The communists’ economic system of surplus was such a dismal failure that it was necessary to hide for a while. People were starving literally and figuratively for capitalism, economic freedom, personal freedom, religious freedom, and a better life for their families. They had reached the breaking point where suffering would change into revolt.
The Romanian military finally turned against their handlers and joined the exploited and long-suffering citizens, deposing the brutal and totalitarian regime with its despised dictator Nicolae Ceausescu and his wife Elena.

Although B. Hussein Obama has an aversion to taking credit for his abundant failures, lies, and criminal acts, B. Hussein did a credible job of describing just what his failures were in last night’s State of the Obamanation Failed Union Speech.
B,. Hussein waxed eloquent on his description of how the Keynesian “Prime the Pump” stimulus theory of economics has failed without ever mentioning Keynes, or economic stimulus.
It was a masterful slight of hand speech, worthy of B. Hussein’s reputation as a consummate lying, con-artist, (pardon the redundancy).
Now that Commie Obama has been forced to admit that Communism (Mandatory Universal Federal Medical Insurance Tax, aka Obamacare), Economic Stimulus, Fed-controlled low interest rates, and Constitutional violations have made the last 5 years a living Hell for The Middle Class in America, the question I have is as follows:
“Who in the RINO Wing of the Republican Party has learned NOT to repeat what B. Hussein has proven for 5 years to be failed Federal Government policy?”

B. Hussein described his failures, but refused to take credit for the, like any, lying, cheap Insurance Tax Hustler would.
Hence, HE said it, denied it, and was proud of it all at the same time.

Odd (not really) that when I read the trilogy and thought about where some in this country would like to see us headed, I also couldn’t help but make the comparison. Areas of “wilderness” forbidden to the “common folks”. Folks collected in to specific areas. Lack of freedom. Spooky. Can’t wait (well I have to ) for the conclusion movie(s). I read someplace that the 3rd one is so involved and the complexity of the battle scenes so technical that it will require it to be made in two parts. I think they’ve done a pretty decent job so far.
I read the back of the book - the Good Guy wins.
