MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) School officials at the University of Minnesota are working with black student and facility organizations after they wrote a letter to the schools president about the racial descriptions given in crime alerts. The letter, sent on Dec. 6, 2013, was issued by members of the African American and African Studies, Black Faculty and Staff Association, Black Graduate and Professional Student Association, Black Mens Forum, Black Student Union and Huntley House for African American Males. It was directed to University President Eric Kaler and Pamela Wheelock, the vice president of University Services.

Hmm, so if a blue skinned person robbed a bank, then would just say some sorta humanoid entity of indeterminate gender indeterminate height and indeterminate build just robbed the bank???
BOLO FOR EVERYONE and ANYONE....
They are admitting the truth - the blacks don’t want blacks mentioned as suspects..LOL. i.e. TRUTH HURTS.

The world has always had a certain number of fools in it, but in the past someone could push for something like this and the adults would respond rationally. Something along the lines of “not just no but He** no! Get back to class.”
i.e. it is those making the decision that are the problem - if they acquiesce, that is.
They sure seem to have a lot of racist organizations tied to the university there. I suppose if a bunch of them emerged with “White” or “Christian” in their names, the school would fall all over itself trying to get rid of them or limit their influence.
Liberals run from the truth like cockroaches run from the light.
Yet another attempt to hide the identies of people who committ crime.
Yet feminists are okay with rape victims being wary of ALL men (not just because of this case but because all men are born with some kind of Original Sin of being male).
It’s consistent with the anal exams of 80 year old grandmothers at the airport and exemptions for Islamists who find it to be an afront to their religious beliefs.
so if the boys from Duke really do commit a crime on some stripper, will they remain consistent with their reporting preferences?
What if you’re in black face and an afro wig? What if you’re in white face with a sweep over?
ALERT ALERT ALERT
Somebody did something. Be on the lookout.
These liberal college students are so naïve I can see the victims themselves agreeing with this. Kids are getting jumped and having their laptops and cellphones stolen every day by the same group of black and Somali thugs but they’re been conditioned to accept it lest they be accused of racism. I told the kids I know there to start carrying a weapon and you’d think I suggested they commit murder.
How about this? How about we don’t mention the race of the criminals at all.
Unless of course they are white. Now THAT would be news!
Lets just report the name of the one arrested was Jaquerious Mohammed Jackson and let the assumptions fall where they may.
(Sheesh)
” the African American and African Studies, Black Faculty and Staff Association, Black Graduate and Professional Student Association, Black Mens Forum, Black Student Union and Huntley House for African American Males.”
No race mentioned in these associations, eh?
Dear Student Associations,
We’re going to put public safety first, so no thanks, but thanks for the input.
Regards,
U of Minn.
Trying hard to deny the obvious proven fact: Blacks account for half the crime, but only a small percent of the population.
How about this?
“Suspect is 5’9”, about 185 lbs, and would fit right in at the Huntley House for African American Males”.
Political Correctness will eventually kill us all.
Isn't there also a movement to stop charging so many Blacks in schools because the charging rate is so much higher than all other racial groups...must be racism, eh?
