Why dont we have boats that goto all ports of the world and bring whomever wants to come to America. We have place to give em a name and social security card. What would happen? Why stop at a few million make it a Billion.

It’s a Texas thing.
But I know of at least one FReeper who would be happy to argue with it. Don’t we wku man, bobby.223, AllAmericanGirl44, Windflier and all of us ‘manger doggies’!

If you go to the chart down this page , you will see the Philippines are at -14% of a place where people would want to live. I believe this means the Philippines, if people could live where they want, would lose 14% of their population. The Americas would gain 45%. Imagine that, we gain population and the Philippines lose population. Dawgs, it appears we live in a better place than the Philippines - imagine that. God Bless America, our homeland.

I see no Socialists in this country would choose to live in Cuba, even though they think we should be more like them.

The whole thing is insanity to me, but it is what is going on with the globalist mentality. So I am just letting everyone know the pre planned concepts that have been out there all along in ‘secret societies’.
The USA was a ‘sanctuary’ for those who came from places that had dictators, communism, socialist agendas, and Christian persecution....now will there be anywhere to go?
Some are fleeing to Central and South American countries, but how long before they return to dictatorships or far left ideology? What if the US cuts off their Soc Sec or takes their 401ks and they are stranded without funds. Already the banks in those places are skeptical with the new tax haven laws....none of it looks good from here.

No government under socialism has prospered. Socialists ignore history and math and they ignore Einstein when he said, in effect, doing a failed experiment over and over without changing anything, gives you the same outcome - failure.

Conversely, how would the world look if WE could make OTHER PEOPLE live where WE wanted? There’s a thought to give one pause.
I strongly suspect that the US would be without about 57% of it’s population...and places like Cuba and China would be stuffed.

And Saudi Arabia tops the list as the most desirable place to immigrate (218%).

I'll go one step further, and say that I'd bet he farm the reason Canada has such a big immigration number is their lax laws. Illegals wanting to get to America, but not wanting to run the so-called "border defenses" to the South, simply show up in Canada, are processed and given a hearing date a month or two in the future. Then they disappear, and simply cross into America over our even weaker defenses to the North.
The upshot? I'm will to bet the aforementioned farm that the number for the USA is higher than 45%, and Canada is actually lower than 120%.

This is an interesting project for any GIS people out there. Make a thematic world map showing the population shifts symbolized by color changes in defined regions.

Immigration to the US is on a downward trend?
I’m ok with that...
To: Pan_Yan
It’s a trick question. If I could live anywhere, I’d live in San Diego but without Californians.
