I thought both Doritos commercials were great -- the time machine, and the dog/cowboy.

Also loved the Radio Shack ad -- "the '80s called, they want their stores back."

Liked the Budweiser spot featuring the dog and the Clydesdales; ditto for the Chevy spot with the stud bull being delivered to his new harem, to the tune of “You Sexy Thing” by Hot Chocolate.

Overall, this was one of the lamest groups of Super Bowl commercials in history. Lots of companies will be looking for new ad agencies tomorrow.

Cheerios!

and all the ones with horses, dogs, the American flag, and war heroes!

(My theory: Budweiser is all of a sudden not about babes and boobs anymore, but patriotism, because they are pitching to the over 50 crowd. Now that pot is becoming legal everywhere, beer sales will go down among the under-50 gang. Bud has a newer, older market.)

Bob Dylan doing the Chrysler add was a shock. I'll bet a lot of pinkos feel sold out that he's schilling for a (perceived as) American capitalist company.

Yup. The puppy and the Clydesdales. After that, the Chevy truck ad with the bull in the trailer.

A lot of pinkos are still upset that he sold out and went electric.

I thought the Dylan/Chrysler ad was just... ironic. Just a total fail IMO. ???

The Budweiser ad was cute, but none of these ads made me interested in anything they were trying to sell. In fact, none of the ads really seemed like they were interested in me as a consumer.

That Maserati commercial was the suck. Why not just show the damned car? I got curious and went to the Maserati website for the car. It said it wasn’t working, but I COULD watch the Superbowl commercial. WTF?

I have to agree.
Nothing stands out from tonight's spots.
The Bud puppy was cute, tho.
