Today Sandini Research Labs and it's unnamed Swedish research partner announced a major science breakthrough...The sustained production of electricity by hot fusion. They said electricity had been produced for a total of seventeen hours without interruption

Company spokesman, Prof. Olaf Untermeyer-Jurgens, said an entirely approach had been taken using sound and heat but without lasers, to create the Hyper Flux Transfer reaction and promised more news soon.

The sustained production of electricity by hot fusion.

A solar cell does that.

I just get so weary of all the lies. It’s the spirit of the age.

Reading the previous posts should answer those question.

Need a link for this “claim”. Checked the science sites I frequent and no mention of it. IF sustainable fusion happened, the net should be jumping...it’s not.

As far as a “commercial device” goes...well, I think not. The following link takes you to the National Ignition facility

https://lasers.llnl.gov/

as one can see by the few posted pictures, a working smaller commercially available device is a long long long long way off.

I know you’re just passing along what you found, but sorry, NO SALE!

You have nothing better to do than to jerk people around?

Seriously, you didn’t think there was already enough made up crap on the internet or something?

I understand boredom, but annoying others to combat it is rather selfish.

It takes a certain kind of dullness to not see the thread was satire, a joke, etc.

If you don’t like it don’t read it.

Faulty logic. It's like "If you don't like abortion, don't have one." No. It does not address the salient aspect of what you have done at all.

Furthermore, it is false logic insofar as your argument fails to understand that ONE MUST FIRST READ SOMETHING TO DISCOVER THAT ONE DOES NOT LIKE IT. Your admonition requires a degree of prescience that is beyond the capacity of any mere persons to accomplish it.

Creating false news is not helpful in any sense of which I can contemplate. If it is meant as entertainment, that's fine, but it's not funny when it is not easily distinguishable as entertainment.

Fusion is one of the issues I try to follow closely because it has such a significant potential impact on the future of humanity. There is already enough crap proposed by actual theoreticians/researchers with legitimate credentials let alone made up nonsense.

Entertainment is seeing reactions like yours to something so obviously and self evidently satiric. Scary too when you say you follow the issue of fusion. OOOppps!

Don’t get mad at me, man!

I didn’t get it was satire at first either, just ‘cause the Ecat cold-fusion threads are at least as outlandish as yours, only they are dead—and angrily—serious.

The difference is I didn’t much give a dern either way.

I was only commenting on and chuckling about the wrath that I figured would come your way...ha...haven’t looked at the thread, hope you came through okay..

I don’t get mad because I don’t take comments personally but I do have fun and am often amazed, this being one of those times.
