Justin Bieber has been accused of abusing a flight attendant on a private jet until she was forced to hide in the cockpit. The troubled teen singer and his entourage were also said to have smoked so much marijuana on the flight between Canada and New Jersey that the pilots were forced to wear oxygen masks. Bieber, 19, his father Jeremy, 38, and ten friends travelled on the leased jet to Teterboro airport ahead of the Superbowl and were allegedly so verbally abusive towards the female flight attendant that she refuses to work for him again.

Of course not! They smoked it all.

If there ever was a candidate for a good pop upside the head, it’s this punk. Not to mention having the Gospel preached to him.

My question is why didn’t the pilots land at the nearest airport and refuse to fly any further?

Why was the dad allowing his 19 year old kid to do drugs and abuse people?

Due to safety concerns and/or the inability to get passengers to comply with instructions, it was the captain’s duty/obligation IMO to land the plane at the nearest airport. The fact that the flight continued, under adverse if not hazardous circumstances, sends the wrong message as in the future the authority of other captains in similar cicumstance may not be respected.

Maybe they’ll meet us halfway. We can drop him in the middle of Lake Michigan and they can pick him up there.

So...what happens to the flight crew when they fail their next medical due to the THC in their system?

At least they have a story to tell the FAA examiner while trying to get their lost licenses back.

It appears to me that a few people might have misread my first comment (post #2). I said they didn't find any TALENT, not drugs. :) How exactly would one smoke talent, anyway? ;) ;)

Isn’t the pilot supposed to be in command, just as the captian of a ship has all the authority as law enforcement? WHy didn’t that pilot land the plane elsewhere when all this trouble broke out? It’s not that I doubt it happened, I an just baffled at the action of the pilot.

You are most likely correct, the only game changer wold be if it happens on the street his “buddies” will run away as fast as then can and leave him covered with puke laying in the gutter.

The only thing that keeps them arould is the money and what he can do for them.

The pilot does not have the authority as law enforcement. It was a 55 minute flight. It was an international flight. The problems as described could not have accumulated until well into the flight, so diverting would have been a huge hassle with customers and air traffic control. The pilot made the right decision.

Couldn’t the pilot have depressurized the cabin to void all the smoke out? Depriving the Bieber family of oxygen would simply be a side benefit.
